Meet the Inventors of CAFATM System

 

Jaehwa ChoiJAEHWA CHOI (The Chief Inventor of CAFATM) is an associate professor in the Research Methods program in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the George Washington University. His research interests include structural equation modeling (SEM), latent growth models, Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) estimation methods for latent variable models, and web-based assessment and learning system. In CAFATM system development, he is in charge of overall project development management focused on main assessment/learning system design and psychometric models. He is also a Senior Consultant of Psychometrics for eMathTest, Inc. He received a Ph.D. in Measurement, Statistics, and Evaluation from the University of Maryland, College Park. SUNHEE KIM (An Inventor of CAFATM) is an assistant professor in Mathematics Division in the Howard Community College. Her research interests include optimization applications using Markov chain Monte Carlo methods, numerical analysis application to mathematical finance, and simulation based mathematics assessment. In CAFATM system development, she is in charge of Cognitive Knowledge Map development and Auto Item Generation system development focused on Mathematics subject. KYONGIL YOON (An Inventor of CAFATM) is an assistant professor in the Computer Studies Department in the Arts and Sciences School in Notre Dame of Maryland University. His research interests include computer vision, computational geometry, web 2.0, and computer enhanced mathematics education. In CAFATM system development, he is in charge of web system design, database and system development focused on computational algorithms and procedures.
